MOULTRIE — ‘Packer Idol’ was held at Withers Auditorium on March 10. With more than 500 in attendance, the event raised more than $4,000 for Relay for Life. This year’s winners are: first place, Zack Griffin; second place, Matt Lardy; third place, Kari Saunders; and People’s Choice Award, Dezaray Fowler. Study shows YMCA after-school students show improvement
Cox Elementary students who participated in the 2013-2014 Moultrie YMCA afterschool program showed significant improvement in math and reading grades, according to an evaluation submitted to the Georgia Department of Education and the Colquitt County Board of Education.
