President responds to students' letters

MOULTRIE — Under the guidance of social studies teacher Michelle Wright, fourth grade students at Cox Elementary were assigned to write letters describing the qualities of a great leader to President Barack Obama. Recently, the students received a big surprise! Obama replied with a personally signed letter of encouragement and gratitude, plus photos of himself, his dog Bo, and the White House. Photographed here is the Cox Elementary 4th grade, with students in the front holding the letters and photographs received.
