Ronald James Gay
Ronald James Gay graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va., in December, after completing an 11-week session of advanced academic and management curriculum.
The 235th session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from 50 states. Included in the class, were members of law enforcement agencies from the District of Columbia, 26 international countries, four military organizations, and four federal civilian organizations.
FBI Director Robert Mueller was the principal speaker at the ceremony.
He has been employed with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office in Florida for the past 22 years as a lieutenant with the Internal Affairs and Training Division.
Prior to his employment with the Sheriff’s Office, he served in the United States Air Force in the Security Police for eight years.
He is the son of Charles and Masako Gay of Moultrie.
He is a 1979 graduate of Colquitt County High School.
Mary Wilson
Mary Wilson of Moultrie was recognized by the Georgia Head Start Association in Dalton, Ga.
She was presented with the 2008 Nomination for Teacher of the Year at the GHSA Fall Conference in November.
She attends New Life Family Worship Center in Moultrie.
