Family, friends and Holy Temple Church of God in Christ members gather Monday around a sign designating a portion of Third Street Northwest in honor of Paul E. Hayes Sr. The city held a ceremony to unveil a sign to honor Hayes by designating the street from First Avenue Northwest to Northside Drive in the late superintendent’s honor.
