Man charged with counterfeit bill

Colquitt County S.O.

• Robert Williams Jr., 44, of 998 Greenspence Road in Midville, was charged Tuesday with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and crossing a guardline with contraband.

• Benito Martinez, 23, of 210 McMullen Lane, was charged Tuesday with driving without a license, driving with an expired tag and operating a vehicle with blue lights.

Berlin Police

• Juan Diego Samuel, 24, of 1719 Holmes Drive, was charged Tuesday with speeding and driving without a license.

Moultrie Police

• An employee at Easy Corner on West Central Avenue reported Tuesday a customer cashed a fraudulent check Dec. 15. The amount of the fraudulent check was $469.11.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Troy Davidson reported a thief stole a Sony PSP with a game from his former house on Crosland-Scooterville Road in Omega between 3 p.m. Friday and noon Tuesday. The value of the stolen items was $228. Davidson gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.

• Gildador Perez, of Circle Road, reported a thief stole a J. Reynolds guitar and an Apple iPhone between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was about $500. Perez gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.
