Rental store reports missed payments

MOULTRIE — On Tuesday, an employee at Aaron’s Rents on South Veterans Parkway reported two incidents in which customers had failed to make payments for items they had leased.

The employee said a male customer leased a Poulan riding mower April 4 but has missed several payments. When contacted about the lawn mower, the customer stated it had been stolen but refused to report it to the police. The value of the missing lawn mower was $1,337.

It was also reported another male customer leased a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion laptop computer Feb. 13, 2007, but had stopped making payments on it. The customer currently owes $444 on the $1,800 computer.

Arrests

Moultrie Police

• Francisco Ramirez Moreno, of 827 Circle Road, was charged Monday with failure to stop at a red light, driving without a license and duty to stop at an accident with damage.

• Shawnika Renee Green, 18, of 201 Eighth St. S.W., was charged Tuesday with illegal possession of alcohol.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Billy F. Hornsby Jr., 37, of 158 Jim Odom Road in Berlin, was charged Tuesday with battery.

Norman Park Police

• Raymundo Jiminez, 24, of 412 Third Ave., was charged Tuesday with driving without a license and a window tint violation.
