Thief takes more than $6,500 in cash

Staff Reports

• Jackie G. Pike, 18, of 158 County Lane, was charged Wednesday with driving without a license.

• Heather Nichole Bell, 23, of 137 Lighter Knot Court, was charged Monday with driving with a suspended license, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and probation violation.

Berlin Police

• Ruby Chantel Washington, 19, of 162 Rogers St. in Berlin, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct.

Moultrie Police

• An employee at Ameris Bank on First Avenue Southeast reported Wednesday a known male customer cash a fraudulent check March 17. The amount of the fraudulent check was $3,856.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Robert Glass reported Wednesday finding a dog dead and left chained up in the yard at a house on Old Adel Road that had been there since around March 1. Glass gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.
