Recitals to include 3 Colquitt Countians



TIFTON — Music majors at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College have been working diligently on preparing individual pieces to present for their spring recitals. Twenty music majors will perform in recitals this semester. Musical selections will feature representative compositions of composers from the Baroque through the 20th century.

The recitals will be held Wednesday, April 29, and Thursday, April 30, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Chapel of All Faiths. The recitals will feature a diversity of styles in performance ranging from voices to hand-held and upright instruments. The performances are open to anyone who would like to attend at no charge.

The recitals will feature Haley Parrish, a history major from Moultrie; Kody Jones, a music major from Tifton; Harry King, a music major from Tifton; Johnathan Thomas, a music major from Toccoa; Michael Johnson, a music major from Ashburn; Thomas Atkins, a psychology major from Hahira; Jake Thompson, a music major from Tifton; Justin Lott, an agriculture business major from Nashville; James Lavender, a music major from Ocilla; and David Poole, a music education major from Tifton.

Other performers include Erlencia Mumphrey, a biology major from Albany; Joshua Barber, a music education major from Nashville; Savannah Rogers, a music major from Moultrie; Ashley Williams, voice/music major from Tifton; Seth Wooten, a music major from Tifton; Ashley Shiver, a music major from Norman Park; Mykel Brown, a music major from Fitzgerald; Justina West, a music major from Valdosta; and Cameron Bell, a music major from Tifton.
