Gospel Sing

Spring Festival

Cox Elementary School will have its Spring Festival on Friday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be many family activities planned including photographs, white elephant sale, games, and a cake walk. There will also be cotton candy, popcorn, candy apples, snow cones, fried fish, and hot dogs. For more information, call 890-6190.

Benefit Auction and Barbecue Chicken Dinner

Meigs Mennonite School will have its annual benefit auction and barbecue chicken dinner on Saturday, May 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be children’s activities. Rain or shine. It is located 19 miles north of Thomasville off of US Rt. 19 on Big Creek Rd.
