3 residents, 1 business are victims of theft

MOULTRIE — Three Colquitt County residents and a business reported Monday they were victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included hair clippers, lawn equipment, a wallet, checks and a golf cart.
The value of the items reported stolen was $3,086. Those who reported being victims of theft were:
• Justin Holley, of Ninth Avenue Southeast, reported a thief stole a Craftsman weed eater from his utility room between 5 p.m. Thursday and 6:48 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen weed eater was $100.
• An employee at Sally Beauty Supply on South Veterans Parkway reported a group of thieves stole three Andis clippers Monday. The value of the stolen clippers was about $256.
• Eddie Hartley, of Thigpen Trail in Hartsfield, reported a thief stole an E-Z-Go golf cart from under his carport between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen golf cart was $2,250.
• Stacey Rutledge, of Highway 319 North in Omega, reported a thief pried on a passenger window of his wife’s Nissan Armada, breaking it, and stole a tote bag, containing her wallet, two credit cards, a checkbook and a payroll check, between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $480.

Arrests:
Moultrie Police
• Johnny Franklin Sirmons, 57, of 775 Mt. Zion Church Road, was charged Monday with public drunkenness (second offense).
• Tommie Lee Walker, 41, of 3021 Sylvester Drive, was charged Monday with duty to obey an officer and public drunkenness.
• Bradley Prescott King, 20, of 1024 Second Ave. N.W., was charged Monday with disorderly conduct.
• Shondale M. Spicer, 24, of 611 Eighth Ave. N.W., Apt. E, was charged May 6 with computer theft.
• Alisha Bridgette Zeigler, 30, of 217-B Third St. S.W., was charged May 6 with computer theft.

Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office
• Marcus Ross Spradley, 17, of Darbyshire Road, Lot 20, was charged Friday with criminal trespassing.
• Armando Alvarez Duran, 39, of 657 Circle Road, Lot 8, was charged Saturday with possession of a controlled substance.

Moultrie Police
• Georgette Wrenn reported someone slashed a tire on her Nissan Xterra while it was parked at Bishop’s on First Street Southeast between 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. Damage was $200. Wrenn gave officers the name of a male suspect.
• Willie Fuller, of 10th Street Southeast, reported Monday someone used his debit card to make two jewelry purchases in India May 3. The amount of the fraudulent purchases was $301.81.
• Zebulon Meyer, of Sylvester Drive, reported Monday someone used about $300 from his food stamp card.
