• Bobby Whittington, of Highway 37 East, reported Thursday a thief stole his Georgia income tax check and forged and cashed it. The amount of the stolen check was $1,429.
• Todd Hall reported a thief stole a computer from the Edge building at Willie J. Williams Middle School on Fourth Street Southwest between 6 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen computer was $500.
• Two Lions Club members reported a thief stole drinks, frozen foods and a case of candy bars from the club’s concession stand on Stadium Drive between 5 p.m. Friday and 1:04 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was about $250.
• Ann Christopher, of Hillcrest Avenue, reported two juvenile boys beat up her son and ripped his shirt Monday. The boy had minor scratches to his chest and back.
• Alexis Davis reported a female acquaintance hit her in the face with a beer bottle during an argument at a house on First Avenue Northwest Monday. Davis had a laceration to her nose and above her right eye.

• Devota Williams, of Willow Drive, reported a thief stole a Kenmore gas grill between Friday and Sunday. The value of the stolen grill was $300.
