3 charged in alcohol sting

• An employee at Tienda Guatemala on Fifth Avenue Northeast reported a thief stole $9,000 cash between 8 a.m. May 28 and 2:54 p.m. Monday. Officers were given the name of a female suspect.

• Rachel Lamas reported Tuesday someone broke out a window of an apartment on 14th Street Southeast, burned two cigarette holes in the couch and used the air conditioner. Damage and the amount of the utility bill was $1,098.

• Earnest Tucker reported someone broke out windows at his rental property on Third Avenue Northwest between May 15 and 1:13 p.m. Tuesday. Damage was about $250.

• Greter Carrio reported someone hit the windshield of her Chevrolet Impala, cracking it, with an unknown object while it was parked at Sanderson Farms on Highway 133 South Tuesday. Damage was $350.

• Monica Harmon, of First Street Southwest, reported Tuesday a female acquaintance ran an extension cord into her house and stole an unknown amount of electricity.
