7:30 p.m. update: Indictment in mass slaying

A Colquitt County grand jury has indicted a second person in connection with the 2004 slayings of five people, including a 2-year-old boy. Wilma Ann Yvonne Stover, 22, is the second person indicted in the deadly shootings that took the lives of Jaime and Katrina Resendiz, their young son, her mother and their housekeeper.

• Law enforcement is offering a reward for information that leads to the capture of escaped inmate Anthony Moses Jordan.

• The executive director of the United Way of Colquitt County told The Observer Thursday the local agency has reached 97 percent of its funding goal and has made small cutbacks in its disbursements. The letter from Angela Castellow was in response to media reports that indicate other United Way affiliates are doing much worse.
