Phone scammer hits 2 Norman Park residents
Moultrie Police
• An employee at Heritage Church on Highway 33 South reported Monday a thief stole a Dyson vacuum cleaner and an eight-foot ladder between March 1 and March 15. The value of the stolen items was $554.
• Dewayne McCoy reported someone hit him in the back with a water balloon as he walked along Fifth Avenue Southeast Monday. McCoy was not injured.
• Larry Maulfair reported a thief stole two air conditioning units and a water heater from a house being renovated on Fifth Avenue Southwest between 9 a.m. Thursday and 3:07 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $2,200.
• Jesus Beiza reported a thief kicked in a side door to his rental property on First Street Northwest and stole a Sony stereo, a Sony cell phone, two Samsung cell phones, a Motorola cell phone, a CD player, clothes, a book bag and four CDs between 7 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday. Damage and the value of the stolen items was $593.

• Authur Smith reported a thief stole a window air conditioning unit from a church on Doc Darbyshire Road between 8 a.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen air conditioner was about $150.
• Levi Wilson reported a thief stole all four tires from his brother’s Dodge Intrepid while it was parked on Fletcher Avenue between 3 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.
• Camrin Taylor reported a thief stole an Allpro utility trailer while it was parked on Culbertson Road between Thursday and 4 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen trailer was $1,000.
• Don Horne, of Highway 33 North, reported a thief stole a Dell laptop computer from his office between 10:30 a.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The value of the stolen computer was $2,200.
