Published July 04, 2009 09:00 am - 9 a.m. update: Opinions Everyone's heard of the "fair tax." Now a fellow with the Heartland Institute is proposing a "fat tax." He suggests a direct tax on obesity. Read Dwain Walden's take on this idea in his column in Sunday's Moultrie Observer. Walden is opposed to such a tax and he outlines his reasoning in this commentary.
