Officers find ski mask, bullets after attempted break-in

MOULTRIE — Officers responding Tuesday morning to an attempted break-in at a Hartsfield woman’s home found a ski mask and bullets while searching for the offender, the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office said.
Dee Summerlin, 1500 block Riggs Store Road, called 911 after she was awakened at about 12:40 a.m. by someone pounding on the front door and windows, sheriff’s reports said.
Summerlin told officers that after she got up, the electricity in the residence went out.
Officers found footprints and a black ski mask near the residence. The main electric breaker outside the residence also had been turned off.
While searching the area, officers found a camouflage bag containing 9 mm gun shells. A Maglite flashlight and other bullets also were found near the residence, sheriff’s reports said.
Thefts
• Sharon Davidson, 600 block Funston-Sigsbee Road, reported Friday the theft of a compressor stand, brown whiskey barrel and other miscellaneous items.
Arrests
• Juan Damion, 27, of Moultrie, was charged Sunday with pedestrian under the influence.
• Jana Kaye Arnold, 18, 407 Pinebluff Road, Albany, was charged Monday with forgery.
Property damage
• Kelli Ruzzo, 1000 Georgia Highway 319 North, reported Sunday that a vacant rental mobile home at 812 Doc Darbyshire Road was damaged. Ruzzo also found a gallon container of water and box of food inside as if someone had been living in the mobile home.

Thefts
• Robert Office, 400 block Second Street Northwest, reported Thursday the theft of a Sony Playstation 2.
• Evelyn Williams, 700 block Fourth Avenue Southwest, reported Thursday the theft of a purse containing $540.
• Dollar General, 1908 First Ave. S.E., reported Monday that a female shoplifted a $1 container of lip gloss.
• Etheal Holloway, 600 block Fourth Street Southwest, reported that while she was out of town a female relative entered her residence. Holloway told police that some small items were missing.
Assaults
• Marvin Roberts, no address available, reported Monday that he was attacked by two men while he was walking on Fourth Street Southwest.
Arrests
• Ulrck Tomblin, 30, 514 Northside Drive, was charged Monday with driving with license revoked and failure to yield when crossing roadway.
• Larry Von Scott, 57, 144 Oak St., was charged Monday with vagrancy.
• Tiffany N. Dennis, 19, 326 Serena Drive, was charged Monday with operating a motor vehicle without a license and driving without headlights.
• Levon Daniels, 37, 216 11th Court S.E., was charted Tuesday with driving on a closed roadway.
• Jared Franklin Suber, 27, 871 Wilburn Murphy Road, was charged Monday with driving under the influence and open container.
Property damage
• Carlos Copeland, 800 block Fourth Avenue Southwest, reported Thursday that a trash can and chain link fence at his residence were damaged.
• Jamie A. Graves, 500 block U.S. Highway 319 North, reported Monday that her 1999 Honda Accord was damaged while it was parked at Moultrie Technical College in an apparent hit and run incident.
• Efrain Rodriquez, 700 block 13th Street Southwest, reported Sunday that a 1995 Ford F-150 was damaged by someone who pried open the rear slide window.
• Ameris Bank, 1707 First Ave. S.E., reported Monday finding a fake $10 bill in a night deposit made over the weekend.
Georgia State Patrol
• Cynthia Evion Williams, 37, 297 Meadow Brook St., Norman Park, was charged Monday with driving without a license and probation violation.
