Loud music attracts police attention

Staff Reports

Thornton told police that the women pulled up in two cars, got out and began beating her.

• Brandy Williams, 500 block Ninth Street Southwest, reported Tuesday that her son complained to her that someone picked him up and dropped him to the ground head first.

Williams told police that she saw a “juvenile” running away.

Thefts

• Otis Anderson, 600 block First Avenue Northwest, reported Tuesday the theft of four suits, 15 pairs of leather shoes, nine gold rings, two necklaces and two bracelets from his residence.

Anderson told police that entry was made into the residence through a rear bedroom window.

• BP, 103 S. Veterans Parkway, reported Tuesday the theft of $30.62 in gasoline.

Property damage

• Thelma Junnie Dunlap, 100 block Pineview Avenue, reported Tuesday that a 2001 Lincoln Navigator parked Friday at Wal-Mart was scratched and dented by another vehicle.
