City, county record 48 arrests

MOULTRIE — At least 49 people were arrested over the holiday weekend and the week prior in Moultrie and Colquitt County on a wide variety of charges, ranging from possession of illegal drugs to family violence.
Those arrests included:
• Randall Ervin Wilson, 43, of 1330 Highway 319 N. in Norman Park, was charged Thursday with no proof of insurance and defective equipment.
• Terry Lee Barber, 42, of 1816 Overlook Drive, was charged Thursday with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, no proof of insurance, driving with suspended registration, obstruction, DUI, a loud music violation and driving with a suspended license.
• Henry Slaughter, 51, of 415 31st St. S.E., was charged Thursday with an open container violation.
• Otis Lee Bonner Sr., 44, of 813 Sixth Ave. S.E., was charged Thursday with simple battery.
• Gilberto Vasquez, 43, of 510 Third St. N.W., was charged Friday with public drunkenness (second offense).
• Timothy Debarge Slaughter, 22, of 831 Shy Manor Drive, Apt. 1, was charged Friday with possession of marijuana less than one ounce and contempt of court.
• Andres Sanchez, 56, of 423 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, was charged Friday with possession of marijuana less than one ounce, disorderly conduct and giving false information to an officer.
• James Steven Carroll, 49, of 1836 Sylvester Highway, was charged Friday with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness (second offense).
• Maria Guadalupe Soto, 38, of 150 Railroad St. in Berlin, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended license and lights required.
• Leatha Lowery Sanders, 44, of 1008 Highland Blvd., was charged Friday with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
• Wilma Rhodes, 39, of 1725 Dean Lane, was charged Saturday with battery (family violence).
• Michael Lee Rhodes, 33, of 1725 Dean Lane, was charged Saturday with battery (family violence).
• Carlos Valencia Gasper, 20, of 255 N. Pine Ave., was charged Saturday with driving without a license, failure to yield to a funeral procession and driving with suspended registration.
• Jose Sanchez, 35, of 15th St. S.E., Apt. 3, was charged Sunday with DUI, driving without a license and failure to stop at an accident with damage.
• Micky James White, 43, of 409-D 31st Ave. S.E., was charged Sunday with DUI and driving with a suspended license.
• Derrick Deshawn Madison, 28, of 620 Oak Circle, was charged Sunday with criminal trespassing.
• James Antonio Manning, 34, of 703 First St. S.W., was charged Sunday with theft by taking and obstruction.
• Tony Jerome Thornton, 37, of 700 Seventh Ave. S.E., was charged Sunday with duty to obey an officer and simple battery (family violence).
• Celestino Nunez Pacheco, 26, of 2820 First Ave. S.E., Lot 3, was charged Sunday with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.
• Terrance Bernard Anderson, 19, of 2534 Oakland Springs Drive in Snellville, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana less than one ounce and defective equipment.
• Rosalino Teratol Gomez, 22, of Moultrie, was charged Sunday with trespassing and public drunkenness.

Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office
• Lawrence William Banks Jr., 20, of 402 Ninth Ave. S.E., was charged Wednesday with leaving the scene of an accident, attempting to elude officers, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving on the wrong side of a roadway, criminal attempt to commit robbery and possession of a firearm while attempting to commit robbery.
• George Hernandez, 20, of 62 Regency Village Drive, Lot 46, was charged Friday with an open container violation.
• Kevin Gomez, 21, of Regency Village Drive, Lot 37, was charged Friday with an open container violation.
• Jacolby Altonae King, 20, of 1515 Fourth Ave. N.E., Apt. D-1, was charged Thursday with battery (family violence).
• Carrita Nacole Gilliard, 22, of 917 Ninth St. S.W., was charged Friday with four counts of deposit account fraud.
• Augustin Solis Chavez, 41, of 2700 First Ave. S.E., Lot 31, was charged Thursday with driving without a license and tag lights required.
• Miguel Savala, 34, of 567 Circle Road, Lot 6, was charged Thursday with driving without a license.
• Herman Sanchez, 25, of 1710 Highway 133 S., was charged Thursday with an open container violation.
• Francisco Romero, 25, of 1710 Highway 133 S., was charged Thursday with an open container violation.
• Jose Ramirez, 37, of 1710 Highway 133 S., was charged Thursday with an open container violation.
• Marcos Luna Garcia, 19, of 1710 Highway 133 S., was charged Thursday with driving without a license, DUI, speeding and an open container violation.
• Maximino Cruz, 46, of 2820 First Ave. S.E., was charged Friday with failure to maintain lane, driving without a license and making an improper left turn.
• Gonzalo Chavez Vasquez, 23, of 779 Jonah Tillman Road, was charged Friday with driving without a license, a seatbelt violation, driving on the wrong side of a roadway and DUI.
• Jose Alfredo Figeroa, 26, of 14 WMTM Road, was charged Sunday with driving without a license and a seatbelt violation.
• A 14-year-old girl was charged Sunday with theft by taking a motor vehicle.
• A 13-year-old girl was charged Sunday with theft by taking a motor vehicle.
• Patti Diana Thornton, 21, of 1515 Fourth Ave. N.E., was charged Sunday with speeding and driving without a license.
• Belinda Kaye Greenlee, 39, of 1972 Highway 37 E., was charged June 29 with possession of cocaine and probation violation.
• Quadria Tameka Clark, 26, of 812 Northside Drive, was charged June 30 with criminal trespassing.
• William Knighton Jr., 49, of 3499 Doerun-Norman Park Road, was charged July 1 with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute and obstruction.
• Mari Tulipane Boyd, 32, of 1766 Hopewell Church Road, was charged Wednesday with battery and cruelty to children (third degree).
• Jesse Duane Hutchinson, 29, of 506 Clarence Jones Road, was charged Wednesday with DUI (second offense), failure to maintain lane and driving with a suspended license (second offense).

Georgia State Patrol
• James Kever, 37, of 309 Simon St. in Thomasville, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and a seatbelt violation.
• Jose Lee Alvarado, 35, of 428 E. Gate Drive in Norman Park, was charged Friday with DUI and driving on the wrong side of a roadway.

Berlin Police
• Matthew Glenn Davis, 24, of 1302 Jo Ree St., was charged Sunday with driving with an expired tag, failure to stop at a stop sign and no proof of insurance.
• Kendrick Laron Cody, 31, of 1123 Pidcock Road in Dixie, was charged Wednesday with a windshield violation, no proof of insurance and operating a vehicle with an improper plate.

Other Incidents:
Moultrie Police
• Elaine Aldridge reported someone damaged a light fixture, a wall and sheet rock at her house on Fourth Street Northwest Friday. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
• Dawn Wynn, of Third Street Southeast, reported seeing a black male fire a handgun into an alleyway Friday.
• Kelvin Clay, of Eighth Avenue Northwest, reported someone broke a brake light and dented the trunk of his Mercury Zephyr Sunday. Damage was estimated at $300.
