MOULTRIE Six Colquitt County residents reported they were victims of property theft over the weekend. Items reported stolen included cash, electronics, jewelry, a money order, a bicycle and a trailer.
The value of the items reported stolen was about $4,148. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:
Jackquenette Jordan, of Seventh Street Northwest, reported a thief stole a money order from her dresser Friday. The value of the stolen money order was $148. Jordan gave officers the name of a male suspect.
Ishmael Kendrick, of Fifth Avenue Southeast, reported a thief stole a Phillips 57-inch television Saturday. The value of the stolen television was $1,000. Kendrick gave officers the name of a male suspect.
Amanda Rivera, of Fourth Street Southeast, reported a thief stole her sons Mongoose bicycle Saturday. The value of the stolen bicycle was about $100.
Miguel Dominguez, of Highway 133 North, reported a thief stole a 24-inch gold necklace, a gold birthstone ring and $100 cash between 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Saturday. The value of the stolen items was $1,500.
Jay Brown, of Sandy Ridge Cemetery Road in Norman Park, reported Sunday a thief stole a pull-behind trailer between June 30 and July 6. The value of the stolen trailer was $650.
Charles Sealy, of Old Albany Road, reported a thief kicked open his front door and stole a Microsoft X-box and eight X-box games between July 5 and 12:45 p.m. Saturday. The value of the stolen items was $750.
Other Incidents
Moultrie Police
An officer on patrol Sunday found marijuana plants growing by a trash can on Ninth Avenue Southeast. The plants were removed from the scene and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Team.
Kimberly Moore reported someone cut the sidewall of all four tires on her Ford Explorer while it was parked on Gatewood Circle between 10 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. Saturday. Damage was estimated at $300.
Colquitt County S.O.
Carlos Jose, of Circle Road, reported someone ran by him and cut his ear with a knife during a fight Saturday.
Benjamin Calixto, of Lawrence Road, reported someone hit him in the head with a beer bottle during a fight Sunday. Calixto suffered a laceration above his left eye. He provided sheriffs deputies with the street name of a male suspect.
