MOULTRIE A Sylvester man was arrested Friday in connection with a June 26 robbery in Doerun.
Terry Anderson Jr., 17, of 614 Peafowl Road in Sylvester, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, battery of a person 65 years of age and older and criminal attempt to commit armed robbery.
Anderson allegedly pulled a knife and tried to steal Wilson P. Tates wallet at a house on North Broad Street in Doerun June 26. Tate would not give up his wallet, and the two men struggled.
Following the altercation, Anderson allegedly threw a concrete block at Tate before fleeing the scene. Tate was not hit by the block, however, and reported the incident to police.
Anderson was arrested Friday by the Worth County Sheriffs Office and turned over to the Colquitt County Sheriffs Office.

Juan Carlos Morales, 27, of 11441 McMullen Road in Riverview, Fla., was charged Saturday with DUI, driving without a license, a seatbelt violation and defective equipment.
Shauna Ann Brinson, 29, of 184 Deer Run Road, was charged Saturday with DUI, following too closely and probation violation.
Salvador Perez Lopez, 24, of 2820 First Ave. S.E., Lot 12, was charged Saturday with driving without a license, driving with suspended registration, no proof of insurance and running a red light.
Juan Carlos Marrero, 34, of 252 N. Pine Drive, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct.
Celestino Pacheco, 26, of 2820 First Ave. S.E., Lot 3, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct.
Ryan Keith Anderson, 17, of 4408 Summerlin Drive in Valdosta, was charged Saturday with trespassing.
Michael William Treon, 25, of 1412 Sustella Ave., Apt. A-10, in Valdosta, was charged Saturday with trespassing.
Adrian Sherrod McBride, 25, of 729 Eighth Ave. S.E., was charged Saturday with illegal possession of alcohol.
Jose Jesus Marquez, 18, of 102 WMTM Road, was charged Saturday with driving without a license and headlights required.
Ruben Zavala, 23, of 142 Edwards St., was charged Sunday with a child restraint violation, giving false information to an officer, an open container violation and probation violation.
Jacqueline L. McIntyre, 50, of 24 Fifth St. N.E., was charged Sunday with making terroristic threats and acts.
Phillip B. McGill, 44, of 1212 Seventh Ave. S.E., was charged Sunday with DUI (second offense), driving with a suspended license, failure to stop at a stop sign and probation violation.
Jorge Alberto, 30, of 381 Ozell Church Road in Boston, Ga., was charged Sunday with driving without a license and making an improper lane change.
Tina Leeann Bullard, 25, of 1504 Hutchinson Drive, was charged Sunday with theft by taking.
Elzie Lee Bullard Jr., 24, of 1509 Hutchinson Drive, was charged Sunday with theft by taking.
Tobias Demere Thomas, 20, of 802 Eighth St. N.W., was charged Saturday with duty to obey an officer, probation violation and a bench warrant.
Santiz Daniel Hernandez, 18, of 88 Regency Village Drive, was charged Saturday with driving without a license, driving with an improper tag, no proof of insurance, an open container violation and illegal possession of alcohol.
Antonio Hernandez, 32, of 46 Regency Village, was charged Saturday with an open container violation and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Steven Michael Tatch, 42, of 2036 Second St. S.E., was charged Sunday with being a pedestrian under the influence.
Eugene Cribb, 42, of 221 Willow Drive, was charged Saturday with weaving over a roadway, defective equipment, speeding and DUI.
Melissa Lea Conger, 25, of 2122 Old Doerun Road, was charged Friday with burglary and theft by receiving stolen property.

Rubisel Velasquez Hernandez, 34, of 279 Tommy Meredith Road in Sparks, was charged Saturday with driving without a license, a seatbelt violation and DUI.
Stephanie Dawn Hernandez, 28, of 258 Firetower Road in Leesburg, was charged Saturday with a child restraint violation and driving with a suspended license.

Castro Artemio Rojas, 44, of 126 Ennis Weathers Road, was charged Saturday with failure to maintain lane, driving without a license, no proof of insurance and DUI.
Tammy Lynne Williams, 39, of 181 Second St. in Berlin, was charged Saturday with brake lights required, failure to change address, DUI and an open container violation.

Jose Mario Perez, 32, of 803 First St. N.W., was charged Saturday with driving without a license and driving too fast for conditions.
