Ag chemicals among items stolen

MOULTRIE — Four Colquitt County residents reported Monday they were victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included electronics, cash, a gun, agricultural chemicals, medication and a generator.
The value of the items reported stolen was $3,009. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:
• Dominique Hunt, of Ninth Street Northwest, reported a thief stole his Sony PlayStation 3 and a flat-screen television between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 1:55 a.m. Tuesday. The value of the stolen items was $1,600.
• Alice Fabry, of West Berrien Avenue in Ellenton, reported a thief stole a Husky 3,000-watt generator from under a shelter between 6 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen generator was $500.
• Cleve Kilgore, of Lanier Road, reported a thief 32 gallons of herbicides and six gallons of pesticide from under a shelter between noon Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen chemicals was $541.
• David Hickey, of 21st Avenue Northeast, reported a thief stole a Taurus pistol, gold coins, Vicodin tablets and $28 cash between July 27 and 3 p.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $368.
Arrests
Moultrie Police
• Christopher Neal Simmons, 19, of 534 D.H. Alderman Road, was charged Monday with driving with a canceled tag, speeding and probation violation.
• Daniella A. Andrews, 31, of 1212 10th St. S.W., was charged Tuesday with obstruction.
• Keisha P. Chappelle, 19, of 333 S. Mock Road in Albany, was charged Tuesday with no proof of insurance, head lights required and driving with suspended registration.

• Noah Lew Sangster, 25, of 139 N. Pine Drive, was charged Monday with two counts of theft by taking.
