Boy says car tried to run him over

Moultrie Police

• Emma Lee, of Second Avenue Southwest, reported a thief damaged her air conditioning unit and stole the copper from inside Tuesday.

• Andrew Dow, of South Main Street, reported someone made a bomb using a plastic bottle with aluminum foil inside and put it in his mailbox between Sunday and 10:52 a.m. Tuesday. Damage was estimated at about $50.

• Marshall Jenkins reported a thief stole an air conditioning unit from his house on West Central Avenue Tuesday. The value of the stolen air conditioner was $3,800.

• An attendant at Express Lane on North Main Street reported a thief pumped $40 in gasoline Tuesday and left without paying for it. The vehicle used was a gold Cadillac Catera, and officers were given its tag number.

• Annie Hall, of Third Avenue Northwest, reported a thief stole $500 cash Tuesday.

• Tyrone Roberts, of Sixth Avenue Northwest, reported a female relative stole his Samsung cell phone Tuesday. The value of the stolen cell phone was $110.
