PAVO — A gospel singer will give her testimony at a local church Sunday morning.

Stephanie Leavins will speak and perform at Ione Freewill Baptist Church in Pavo at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27. Her performance will be the church’s Sunday worship service.

Leavins was born with muscular dystrophy and has spent her entire life in a wheelchair. She says, however her faith has only been strengthened because of her handicap.

Leavins uses the opportunity to inspire and encourage audiences, as she has devoted her life to telling people about God’s love and mercy through her testimony and song. She has created Stephanie Leavins Ministries, based in Bagdad, Fla., and travels across the country sharing her story. She has also released several CDs, which will be available following the service.
