Rainbow Tea

Willow Grove Baptist Church will have its Rainbow Tea program Saturday, Oct. 17, at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The Rev. Corey McGee is pastor.

Family History Month

October is “Family History Month” at the Moultrie-Colquitt County Library. There will be displays about family biographies, family pets, family momentos and family cooking.

Homecoming/Revival

Spring Hill Free Will Baptist church will have its homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Charles Blanton bringing the morning sermon. The Gandy Brothers Gospel group will provide special singing and there will be a covered dish lunch after the service. The fall revival will be Monday, Oct. 19 - Friday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. nightly, with guest speaker the Rev. Billy Bevan from Sardis Free Will Baptist Church in Eufaula, Ala. There will be special music nightly. Spring Hill is located in Mitchell County on Hwy. 93 between Sale City and Lester.

Fish Fry

There will be a “Dinner on the Lawn with Susie Magwood-Thomas” Fish Fry on Friday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. until, at 1019 7th St. N.W. in Moultrie. Fish plates will be $6 and sandwich plates will be $3.
