MOULTRIE — The Colquitt County 4-H and FFA Lamb and Meat Goat Show will be held Nov. 8 at the County Ag Complex on Veteran’s Parkway.

Twenty-two market lambs will be shown.

This is the first year Colquitt County will hold a meat goat show. The project is proving to be popular with 4-H and FFA students in Colquitt County and around the state. Thirteen showmen will exhibit 17 goats to be judged for their quality as meat animals.

The judging will begin at 5 p.m. Spectators are welcome.

For information on the show and sale, to help sponsor the show, or to purchase a project animal, please contact Larry Varnedoe, county agent, at the County Extension office by calling 616-7455.
