• Right now....Colquitt County Sheriff's Deputies are in pursuit, on foot, of a suspect who led them in a car chase, after a traffic violation, into western Colquitt County. The pursuit started about 8:30 a.m. and after eluding deputies in his vehicle, the suspect ditched the car and took off on foot into a field. The canine unit has been brought in to aid in the pursuit. Updates will follow as more details are learned.
