Absentee ballots

In Wednesday’s edition, The Observer printed the unofficial results of the election for the Post 1, District 2 Moultrie City Council seat. There were 276 total votes cast, including 49 that were cast by absentee ballot. Among those 276 votes, Susie Magwood-Thomas received 116 votes, John F. Bridges received 81 votes, Margaret Mathis received 76 votes and Lamonte Alderman received three votes.
