Tool theft tops $3,000


Staff Reports

MOULTRIE — Two Colquitt County residents reported Monday they were victims of property theft. The value of the items reported stolen was estimated at about $3,530.

Those who reported being the victims of the theft were:

• Wayne Roberts, of Highway 37 East, reported a thief stole two Black & Decker framing nail guns, two Black & Decker finishing nail guns, a Black & Decker pin nail gun, two Poulan chainsaws, a staple gun, a Black & Decker staple gun, a welding machine, a Black & Decker air compressor, a Stihl boll saw, a Black & Decker impact drill, two battery chargers and a deer stand from under his carport between Oct. 1 and 9 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen items was $3,230.

• Tim Thornton, of Overlook Drive, reported a thief stole a Pioneer CD player from his Mitsubishi Eclipse between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen CD player was estimated at about $300.

Arrests

Moultrie Police

• Two juvenile boys were each charged Monday with being an unruly child.

• Ronald Jordan, 27, of 1515 Fourth Ave. N.E., Apt. I-3, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct (family violence).

• Wayne Lamar Anderson, 41, of 710 Sixth St. S.E., was charged Monday with no proof of insurance and defective equipment.

• Sherry Lynn Miller, 54, of 139 N. Baker St. in Ellenton, was charged Monday with theft by shoplifting.

Colquitt County S.O.

• Lee Roger Debruce, 64, of 600 Fourth St. S.W., was charged Monday with theft by receiving stolen property.
