Massage therapy working for the Packers

MOULTRIE — Several of Colquitt County High School’s Packer football team players have been found lying around Moultrie Technical College’s Health Sciences building most Thursdays this fall. They have been on the tables in the college’s Neuromuscular Massage Therapist (NMT) Program Clinic receiving injury-specific treatments to help them play at their best on Friday nights. As a part of the college’s community outreach effort, Moultrie Tech NMT program student Ashley Spurgeon is pictured performing a deep gliding technique to the sore quadriceps of Packer running back Javonta Woods recently.
