MOULTRIE — Janice Parker was recently named Mentor of the Month by the Moultrie Junior Woman’s Club and Moultrie YMCA. Parker, a Y Mentor at Funston Elementary, has been a mentor for three years and is currently mentor to two kindergarteners, who speak little English, and a first-grader. ‘When I walk in the room, their faces light up.
