10:30 P.M. UPDATE: Pack wins 26-23

MOULTRIE — 10:30 p.m.

The Packers took the lead with a field goal, then traded touchdowns with Newnan. The score was 26-23, with the Packers in the lead, as the Cougars began a drive with a minute and a half left in the game. Two penalties helped them, but an interception brought the drive to a close. Time ran out, and the Packers won.

9:44 p.m.

A single field goal changed the lead in the game, putting Newnan on top 17-15 as the third quarter closes.

8:43 p.m.

The second quarter is almost all Newnan. The Pack led 12-0 when it started, but the Cougars answered with two touchdowns and PATs to lead 14-12 with about 30 seconds left in the half.

But the Packers were able to get within field goal range and kick a 3-pointer before time expired to retake the lead, 15-14.

8:07 p.m.

The Packers lead Newnan 12-0 at the end of the first quarter.
