Rants and Raves for April 17

Foolish

“The Mexican-Jewish analogy was foolish. I don't think that the Jews drove around drunk or burdened Germany's health and education systems.

Old testemant

“So Mr. Olmstead wants us to live under Old Testament law. Does that mean we can bring back slavery and polygamy? After all, those laws were never repealed in the Bible. Just out of curiosity, I wonder if he would eat a piece of bacon?

What happened

“What happened to the 3-2 and 2-1 ballgames Coach McCranie predicted they were going to win? It seems like the Coach overestimated his talent. Maybe he cut too many good players during tryouts.

In response

“For the ranter:who wanted to know why the police don’t ask for green cards? The answer is simple. On July 1, 2007, Senate Bill 529 went into effect in Georgia, requiring local governments to enforce federal immigration law and preventing undocumented immigrants from working and receiving public benefits...

The Georgia law calls for local police to be trained in enforcing immigration law while doing routine duties such as traffic stops..Immigrant rights advocates say this will lead to more racial profiling.

Carter

“Jimmy Carter is trying to redeem himself and his failed presidency. He should stick to building houses for low-income families. His time for politics is over. He is a has-been or a never-was.
