Missing the point

“The bus rodeo was not an issue of wasting gas. It’s about making sure our drivers are good at what they do. The benefit of such training, interaction and alertness far outweighs a few gallons of gas. Geez! If you want to see gas wasted, looked at all the spoiled kids driving to the high school when buses are available.

No big deal

“As long as a bus driver is not going out of the way, there’s nothing wrong with stopping at a store. Is this all you have to be concerned about? Obviously you don’t have a lot of problems. Apply the energy consumed in your frustrations to some good cause.

“I liked the comment about steroids and Congress. Obviously our Congress is not on steroids or it would be working harder. And apparently t hey are not taking any kind of performance enhancing drugs.

New idea?

“I see on the front page Tuesday morning that our nation is being awakened to wind power. Wonder why we haven’t thought of it before. I mean look at the reminders of wind power. Oklahoma is tossed around like a top. Hurricanes tear up our coastal cities. You would think we would have harnessed wind power to its maximum a long time ago.

“The fact that we have not utilized wind power to its full potential is all about us not be proactive when it comes to energy. We simply don’t do anything about until we are forced to. Well, it looks like tomorrow is here so traditionally, we will play catch-up.
