Observation
“I think it’s funny that the Hispanics get food stamps while the caucasians do not. My mom made $11,000 one year and they said she made to much to qualify for help. Now that is the American way ... work hard and give it to those who break the law. just like the ones in jail."
A revolt
“We should have an American revolt over how illegals get benefits better than U.S. citizens. I’m talking about a march on Washington and I’m talking about rattling the cages of some lawmakers."
Ludicrous
“It’s absolutely ridiculous to say that the hospital employees don’t deserve a raise. So what if they make a lot of money and you only make a little, does that mean only you should get a raise? How about the schooling? Remember when you were in school and they said go to college to make money? They listened."
EMS salaries
“Sure, health care professionals have jobs but some are not paid accurately for their jobs. Take EMS as an example. They have someone on scene that is not breathing and they have to figure out why this person isn't breathing and figure out what they need to do to get them back breathing. They have to do this in a few seconds and their pay is probably less than most secretaries who answer phones! They deserve their raises. They get called to robberies, people not breathing, wrecks, etc."
Door mats
“If we were to cut off a limb, for every white-collar crime a person committed, we would have a bunch of ‘door mats’ running the government, and at every level; city, county, state and federal. If you watch C-span, you will see 535 potential ‘mats’ now."
Attend meetings
“The Colquitt County Board of Education will be having a work session at 6 p.m. July 13, at Vereen School. This meeting is also open to the public. Let your voices be heard. Please, start attending City Council, County Commissioner and Board of Education meeting. Stop letting a few run this Moultrie and Colquitt County."
Not wisdom
“Some people just have a need to utter something. It doesn’t mean that what they say will be intelligent. That’s why you hear stuff like ‘cutting off hands and feet of criminals.’ Let’s just say their kid got picked up on a first offense. What would their reaction be then. Saying stuff like this may illustrate frustration, but it doesn’t illustration wisdom."
Lights on!
“What's up with all the people driving around in the early morning hours with their headlights off?"
