Haltom City, Texas —
Joe Biden came to Cowtown (Ft. Worth) to raise funds for his boss Obama. Picked up $125,000 from some "Fat Cat" liberals, part of the millionaire's raising Obama's teleprompter fund to over $225 million.
The Obama administration does not know what it’s like to live on $20,000 or less. They are all multi-millionaires, exempt from law as we all are.i.e. They can do "inside trading" on Wall Street, yet Martha Stewart was sent to prison for "inside trading" on Wall Street.
The Congressman who called the president a liar on national TV, could have included most incumbents and their staff's in Washington, Atlanta, and yes Ft. Worth.
Anyway, if you are undecided on the next elected official, just use "incumbent" as a guiding light and vote against any incumbent. You can't go wrong or can you?

A case of harassment
In our country you can reasonably expect to be able to disagree with government, at any level, without retaliation. That might not be true in Moultrie, Georgia. I will describe for you some actions from the city toward me since I publicly questioned the purchase of the old hospital property in 2006. I will report - you decide.

But do we really save anything?
So I asked everyone at the breakfast club if they reset their clocks at 2 a.m. to accommodate the recent switch to Daylight Saving Time. No one got up at 2 a.m. for that purpose. Some said they just changed their clocks when they went to bed, and others said they waited until the next morning. I’ve never met anyone who says that he changed his clock at 2 a.m.

A tree house for the Smithsonian? Just a thought
There’s a danger as we get older to become “old fogeys.” I’m not sure what a “fogey” is but I think it’s a polite word for something else, relative to flatulence.

We’re inundated with self-help experts
Several years ago I wrote a column about self-help books. I had been in a large book store and there was a whole section devoted to books that are supposed to help one overcome a wide array of shortcomings. Well since then, it seems the self-help sections of book stores have grown immensely.
Their behavior seems somewhat hypocritical
Our state legislators are at it again.
Senate Bill 98 will prevent abortion coverage under any state or federal healthcare plan in Georgia except for a medical emergency. Apparently there is no exception even for rape or incest.
