Rant and Rave for 1/3/13

Gun nuts

“One thing I’ve learned over the years, don’t argue with gun nuts. Most of them have only read the Second Amendment to our Constitution."

The new board

“I can't wait to see if the new Board of Education is willing to do something about the overspending by the central office and the huge class sizes that they can't seem to fix. How many jobs have been lost at the schools and how many have been added at the central office?"

Minimum wage

“Why is Georgia not raising the minimum wage like other states? Don't say employers can't afford it, the more we make, the more we spend, and the more taxes are collected. So what goes out the front, comes right back as a lower tax bill."

Not the cause

“Don't blame violent video games and movies for this violent culture. They have the exact same games and movies in Canada, England, and the rest of Europe, but you don't see huge numbers of gun violence in those places."

New math?

“I hope we are not teaching new Republican math in School. $1 in cuts for every $41 in taxes which adds 3.9 trillion to the deficit. It must be new math for both our Senators voted for this balanced approach."

Hillary's woes

“Well after weeks of hearing cracks from the so-called journalist over at Fox news about Hillary Clintons phantom illness it comes to light she has a blood clot on her brain. They even had one of their hand picked specialist comment that this wasn't really that serious. I guess an apology from those clowns is out of the question but I think maybe its time for the FCC to look into whether this organization should continue to be called a News channel."
