Democratic Party Meeting

The Democratic Party meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m., at the Colquitt County Arts Center.

Serenity House Benefit

A daddy-daughter dance will be held to benefit Serenity House on Friday, Feb. 28, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council. For more information, call Serenity House at 782-5394.


Applications are being taken for the 2015 Miss GA South Pageant. It is open to all girls ages 0-26 years old from across the south. The pageant will be held on July 12, 2014, in Adel, Ga. For more information, call Darrell Williams at 912-381-7070. The deadline to enter is July 1.
