5:45 p.m. BREAKING NEWS: Escaped Inmate

MOULTRIE — A manhunt for an escaped prisoner continued Wednesday evening, with officials thinking he may have had someone pick him up in a car.

Dogs were still searching the area near the intersection of U.S. Highway 319 South and Turner Road where the inmate disappeared while on a work detail on Wednesday morning.
