MOULTRIE — Donald Gary “Don” Feagin, 55, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at Riverside Holiness Church with the Rev. Mark Jordan, the Rev. Bill Watson and the Rev. Tim Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Jake Kent, Jerry Bennett, Roger Ruis, Dewayne Ruis, Bob Harrell and Ricky Hembree. Honorary casketbearers will be Bobby Ruis, Randall Lairsey, Denvall Hall, Terry Roberts, Randy Odom, Bryan Ruis, Dewitt Jordan and Terry Johnson.

Born May 10, 1954, in Worth County, he was the son of Betty Brady Feagin and the late C.L. Benjamin Feagin. He was an engine builder with Knico Engines and was formerly associated with Parker Engines for 26 years. He was also co-owner of the Herbal Gallery. He was a member of Riverside Holiness Church, where he was chairman of the Deacon Board.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Doerun, are his wife, Janice Sellers Feagin of Moultrie; one brother, Tommy Feagin and wife Lorain of Tifton; four sisters, Penny Hembree of Thomasville, Ga., Pat Bertram and husband Patrick of Moultrie, Pam Sizemore and husband Kevin of Sylvester, Ga., and Peggy Oliver and husband the Rev. Tim Oliver of Milledgeville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 3, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
