Fay Frances Clayton, 69, of Norman Park, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 22, in Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stephan Massey and the Rev. Roy Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Dave Hurst, Corey Fowler, Jerry Ingle Jr., Walter Baldy, James Hurst, John Roberts, Ashley Clayton and Bruce Clayton serving as pallbearers.
Born March 8, 1941, in Tifton, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Roy Musselwhite and Pearlie McMillan Musselwhite. She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Musselwhite, Sam Musselwhite, Royce Musselwhite, Carl Musselwhite, Ray Musselwhite and James Musselwhite; sisters, Forest Rinear, June Musselwhite and Dollie Livesy; a son-in-law, Larry Goodman; and a grandson, Leon Hurst.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Alfred F. Clayton Sr. of Norman Park; son, Junior Clayton and wife Carol of Nashville, Ga.; daughters, Linda Goodman of Moultrie, Frances Ingle and husband Jerry of Norman Park and Deborah Hurst and husband David of Norman Park; a brother, Robert Musselwhite of Buckley, Wash.; a sister, Sarah Hines and husband Harold of Moultrie; sisters-in-law, Vaudie Clayton of Moultrie and Alma Burk of Calhoun, Ga.; 18 grandchildren, Mary Hurst and Dave, Julie Fowler and Corey, Lori Baldy and Walter, Jerry Ingle Jr. and April, James Hurst and Amanda, Sabrina Bowers and John R., Wayne Smith and Kelley, Ashley Clayton, Amy Tucker, April Clayton and Bruce Clayton; 13 great-grandchildren, D.J. Hurst, Jenna Hurst, Josie Goodman, Brittany Goodman, Jonathan Moore, Zoey Ingle, Quaid Baldy, Sophie Ingle, Kristina Bowers, Shiann Bowers, Haley Roberts, Trinity Hurst and Dallas Hurst; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, from 4 to 6 p.m.
