MOULTRIE — James Kevin Pike, 38, of Moultrie, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at his home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., today, March 5, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Steve Comer and Mr. Ken Pike officiating. Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Nick Demott, Jamie Demott, David Mays, Chuck Demott, Trey Eakins, Ray McDaniel, Allan Klutz and Wade Dillon.

He was born Oct. 21, 1970, in Colquitt County and was a telephone engineer with Pike Engineering. He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are his wife, Sarah Sharpe Pike of Denton, Texas; one daughter, Sunni Alexis Pike of Adel, Ga.; his father, Kenneth Edward Pike and wife Beverly of Valley, Ala.; his mother, Mary Gray “Cissy” Demott and husband Lanny of Moultrie; one brother, Michael Erik Spindola of Asheville, N.C.; one step-brother, Jim Hilderbrand of Warner Robins, Ga.; three step-sisters, Mary Catherine Herndon and Marjorie Hilderbrand, both of Valley, Ala. and Gwendolyn Parker of Springville, Ala.; a special uncle, Terry Phillip Gray of Albany, Ga.; and a special aunt, Kathryn Gray Wright of Moultrie.

The family will greet friends at the graveside, following the funeral service.
