HELENA, Ala. — Ken Wisham, 71, and Martha Wisham, 66, of Helena, Ala., both died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Calvary Baptist Church in Hueytown, Ala., with the Rev. Jimmy King officiating.

Mr. Wisham retired from Coca-Cola after 35 years of service and also served in the United States Air Force. He was an active member of the Y.M.C.A.

Mrs. Wisham was a homemaker who loved working in her garden and visiting with friends and neighbors, her family said.

“Ken and Martha were married for 39 years and were a very loved mother, a father, grandparents and members of their community,” their family also said of them.

Survivors include their children, Kenneth Michael Wisham, Ron Hooper and wife Susan, Kenneth Mark Wisham and wife Belinda, Teresa Wisham Cavender and husband Kenneth, Douglas Grant Wisham and wife Missy and Wendy Wisham Pope and husband Bill; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; Martha’s sister, Dianne; and Ken’s brothers and sisters, Irma Ohlenkamp, Hilda Watts, Bonnie Giddens, Dick Wisham, Daniel Wisham and Fred Wisham.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, at the church.

The family requests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 7570 15th St. Rd., Hueytown, Ala. 35023.

Peoples Chapel Funeral Home, 195 Brooklane Drive in Hueytown, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
