MOULTRIE — Margaret Carolyn Potts Nall, 87, of Moultrie, died Thursday, July 9, 2009, at the Presbyterian Home of Quitman.

Graveside services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, July 13, at Highlands Cemetery in North Carolina with the Rev. Hugh Ward officiating.

Born Sept. 3, 1921, in Macon County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John Edwin Potts and Ellie Pierson Potts. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Presbyterian faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Crooks Nall; brothers, William R. Potts and Roy Potts; and sisters, Eva Potts Massey, Mary Potts Stephens and Emma Potts Pell.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Lynne Nall Barkett and husband Larry of Vero Beach, Fla., and Margaret Fritz Nall Sheumaker and husband Larry of Moultrie; grandchildren, Erryn Michael Barkett, David William Barkett, Lauren Sheumaker Howell, William Elliott Sheumaker and Evan Robert Sheumaker; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Moultrie or Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy in Colquitt County.

Baker Funeral is in charge of local arrangements.
