MOULTRIE — Ruth Mason Sellers Weldon, 74, of Moultrie, died Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James “Shot” Sellers officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Scott Miley, Carlo Beam, Stoney Cardin, Bubba Cardin, Dusty Cardin and Michael Horne.

Born May 12, 1935, in Tellico Plains, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Larry Hugh Mason and Annie Mae Burris Mason. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Sellers.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Weldon of Moultrie; three sons, Randy Sellers and wife April, Roger Sellers and wife Barbara and Ricky Sellers and wife Melonie, all of Moultrie; three stepsons, Robert Weldon and Rocky Weldon, both of Moultrie, and Jeff Weldon of Baconton, Ga.; two stepdaughters, April Weldon of Ohio and Wendi Weldon of Virginia; seven grandchildren, April Sellers Clayton, Leigh Ann Clayton, Cassie Seller Hargraves, Kim Sellers, Raymond Sellers, Leslie Peeler and Ashley Sellers; two stepgrandchildren, Cameron Taylor and Adam Taylor; nine great-grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Sellers Welch and husband Greg of Moultrie; and a special friend, Sandra Ellis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 27, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
