middle school field trip.JPG

All seventh grade students at Willie J. Williams Middle School recently attended the Azalea International Folk Fair held at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta. The one-day social studies field trip was an educational experience that allowed students to explore many cultures from countries in Asia and Africa. In previous years, the trip has only been available to students who could pay the fee. This year the trip was sponsored by the Waldo DeLoache Charitable Trust and all students had the opportunity to attend. Pictured with the students are teachers Gail Jennings, Shana Lampman, and Amy Garner. Also shown are representatives from Southwest Georgia Bank, Steve Johnson, Geraldine Luff and Rick Holland.
