INMAN, S.C. — The Rev. Roy Lee McCulley, 71, of Inman, S.C., died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C., with the Rev. Monty King officiating the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. McCulley was a native of Dalton, Ga., and a son of the late Vena McCulley. He was a retired Southern Baptist minister, having served churches in Georgia and Florida. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was the husband of Dovie Jane Stanley McCulley.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Lee and Lisa McCulley Jr. of Cowpens, S.C., and Arthur and Cynthia McCulley of Castroville, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Rick Provine of Inman, S.C., Kim and Melbourne Walston of Dalton, Ga., June Williams of Woodruff, S.C., and Gail and Michael Morefield of Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Marie Crump of Texas and Jerrylene Bolding of Chattanooga, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Chris Folsom and wife Leslie, DeeDee McCulley, Miki Folsom and fiancé Dillen Hartley, Denisa Saulen and husband Jim Saulen, Zack and Noah Williams, A. J. and Dawson McCulley, Richard Provine and wife Laura of Lake Waccamaw, N.C., and Mary Wofford of Rock Hill, S.C.; and seven great-grandchildren, Zoe and Michael Saulen, Jordan and Katie Folsom, Heather and Blake Garces, and Kiersten Provine.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, S.C.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 842 Mt. Zion Road, Spartanburg, S.C. 29301.

The family will be at 108 Amber Drive in Inman, S.C.
