Lance Cpl. Justin Lee Manley

Lance Cpl. Justin Lee Manley graduated from boot camp at Parris Island, S.C., as a private first class on Sept. 24, 2010.

He graduated from Colquitt County High School in May 2010, where he was in the Marine Corps Jr. ROTC program for all four years of high school.

Since graduation from boot camp, he has earned the rank of lance corporal in the United States Marine Corps and is currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

His parents are Lee and Betty Eason of Moultrie. He has a brother, Christopher Alonzo of Lubbock, Texas, and a sister, Lindsay Ball of Moultrie. His grandparents are Earnest and June Manley of Moultrie and the late Sharon Loveday. He is the nephew of Chris and Shannon Danford of Enigma, Ga., and cousin to Neal Danford of Enigma, as well. In boot camp his platoon earned the Honor Platoon Award for their “hard work and dedication” to their training.

Leslie Syrena Blakley

Leslie Syrena Blakley, a graduate of Colquitt County High School completed her course of study at Albany

State University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in allied health. She is currently employed as a health care representative with Chamberlin Edmonds at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

She is the daughter of Irene Bonner Blakley and Nathaniel and Jennifer Blakley Sr., all of Moultrie. She was a student of Lt. Col. Paul Nagy and Gunnery Sgt. Emmett Bryant in the Jr. ROTC program.

Nathaniel Blakley Jr.

Nathaniel Blakley

Jr., a graduate of Colquitt County High School and Mother Easter Baptist Church scholarship recipient, has completed his course of study at Tuskegee University College of Engineering, earning his Bachelor of Science degree. He is currently employed as a transmission design engineer at Alabama Power (a Southern Company) in Birmingham, Ala.

He is the son of Irene Bonner Blakley and Nathaniel and Jennifer Blakley Sr., all of Moultrie. He was a student of Ms. Carr, Ms. Bollinger and Ms. Severson at Colquitt County High School.     

Eboni Ladelra Blakley

Eboni Ladelra Blakley, a graduate of Colquitt County High School and Rams Class of 1954, 1955 and 1956 Scholarship recipient, has completed her course of study at Florida A&M University/Florida State University College of Engineering, earning her Bachelor of Science degree.  She is currently employed as an electrical engineer at Gulf Power (a Southern Company) in Pensacola, Fla.

She is the daughter of Irene Bonner Blakley and  Nathaniel and Jennifer Blakley Sr., all of Moultrie. She was a student of Mrs. Durham at Colquitt County High School and the niece of James and Odessa Yates.
