MOULTRIE – With a four-yard run to the Grayson 20-yard line, Colquitt County High senior running back Daijun Edwards broke the all-time rushing record held by Shiheim King since 2014.

Edwards had 3,771 yards going into Friday's game against the No. 1 ranked Rams on Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium. In two drives, he carried six times for 25 yards and now has 3,796 yards, nine more than King.

No. 4 Colquitt scored both times it had the ball and leads 14-0 late in the first quarter.
