On Saturday, October 12th from 10 AM until 4 PM the grounds of the Colquitt County Arts Center will be filled with music, dance, crafts, fine art, food, children’s and adult art projects and so much more!
We have performing artists scheduled including:
• 10:30-11:00 — Tai Chi with Li Zhang.
• 11:00-11:30 — Dancers Azteca.
• 11:30-12:00 — Cast of Flat Stanley.
• 12:15- 12:45 — Family Village of Aya.
• 1:00-1:45 — Eddie Fabrizio.
• 1:45-2:15 — John Neely.
• 2:15-2:45 — Cast of SHREK.
• 3:00-4:00 — Sonder.
Food and beverages will be made available by our good friends at The Latin House.
The Moultrie Service League and volunteers are assisting with children’s activities which will include Alcohol Art Tiles, Marble Painting, Yarn Monsters, and a Self Portrait Maker Station.
Adults and students 16 & up will have the opportunity to participate in an Open Studio for All opportunity. Two sessions will be offered from 10 AM until Noon and from Noon until 2 PM. All supplies are provided for you to create your own work of art and all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Open Studio for All is made possible by a grant from the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities.
A variety of Door Hangers will be available to purchase and paint for only $10 with all supplies and instruction provided. This opportunity will be available from 10 AM until 2 PM.
A variety of Arts & Crafts vendors will also be on site including works from the Arts Center Stained Glass class; Patty’s Mexican Boutique; Mini Acrylic Paintings, Bookmarks and calligraphy stationery by Addie Rouse; Fiber Arts by Shirley Thomas; Wood Furniture and Wall Art Paintings by Shane Truett; Homemade Greeting Cards and Paper Crafts by Maria Taylor; Handmade Christmas Ornaments, Pallet Projects and Painted Mason Jars by Alexandra Ulkaovits; Quilling Paper Arts & Crafts by Sarah Fekry; Handmade Jewelry and Handmade Cards by Antonella Curiel and Alicia Ferro; Oil Paintings by Tom Bishop and artist Sally Shovar will be doing portraits on site.

The festivities continue that evening at Ashburn Hill Plantation as the Arts Center brings you PEACE of Woodstock. This Woodstock music cover band is going to rock the night!! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the music under the stars. Tickets are $30 person or $45 for VIP seating with a few perks. There will be food trucks and a cash bar so no outside food or drinks will be allowed. The CCHS Jazz Band will entertain from 7 PM until Woodstock takes the stage at 8 PM.
