TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Moultrie native Yohann Embray Brinson graduated May 4 from Florida A&M University’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
At the age of 3, Brinson attended the Care House Daycare Center in Moultrie, followed by Sunset Elementary School, Willie J. Williams Middle School and C.A. Gray Junior High. He graduated from Colquitt County High School in 2006.
Brinson was active in the Marine Corps Junior ROTC program under Lt. Col. Paul Nagy and Gunnery Sgt. Emmett Bryant. He was among the top shooters on the rifle team and was voted commander in his senior year.
He continued his education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he graduated in 2009 with an Associate of Science degree. He graduated from FAMU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Brinson is a member of Mother Easter Baptist Church in Moultrie, which he joined when he was 5 years old.
He is currently employed at CVS Pharmacy in Tallahassee.
Brinson is the son of Marian Laverne Singh of Moultrie and Reuben Brinson of Moultrie.
